Cobblemon Pack Creator

Drag & drop your Blockbench models and textures to generate a ready-to-play Cobblemon datapack & resourcepack. No coding required, and nothing is uploaded — it all runs in your browser.

Empty project
  1. 1. Fill in your pack info.
  2. 2. Add each Pokémon — or drop a whole folder and let the tool sort it out.
  3. 3. Download the datapack & resourcepack. Drop them into your world & resourcepacks folders.

Example pack by Dogtor Bloo Modrinth VGen

Builds form/skin additions for existing Cobblemon species and brand-new custom Pokémon, following the official Cobblemon spec.

Applies to the whole collection.

Appearance & advanced
Cosmetic items (holdable)

Let Pokémon apply an aspect while wearing an item — Cobblemon reads these from the datapack (data/<id>/cosmetic_items/…). Each assignment lists the affected Pokémon plus one or more worn item → aspects rules. To make the aspect actually show, add it as an extra aspect on a form/variant with its own model/texture.

Making one of your own skins wearable? Use the Cosmetic item tab on that Pokémon's card instead — it aims the item at that exact form (Alolan Raichu only, say) and keeps the aspect in sync for you. This section is for extra assignments that don't belong to a single card.

2 Bulk import (optional)

Drop a whole folder — or a .zip of one — with subfolders per Pokémon, an exported datapack/resourcepack, or any mix. Files are matched to species, forms & texture roles automatically.

Drop a folder or a .zip here (or click to browse a folder)

Got a zipped pack? — it's unzipped right in your browser, then processed exactly like a folder. Understands .geo.json models, .png textures (shiny/emissive/translucent), .animation.json, posers, resolvers, species files & species additions, spawn files, lang files and pack.mcmeta.

3 Pokémon

One card per form/skin or new species. Manage the whole project (templates, export, clear) from the bar at the top.

4 Review & download

Check the warnings, preview the file tree, then build your packs.

📥 Installing your packs

  • Datapack (…-datapack.zip) → goes inside a world: singleplayer .minecraft/saves/<your world>/datapacks/ · server <server folder>/world/datapacks/. Re-enter the world or run /reload to load it.
  • Resourcepack (…-resourcepack.zip) → .minecraft/resourcepacks/, then enable it under Options → Resource Packs. On a server, every player needs it too — or serve it automatically as the server resource pack.

Grabbed the combined bundle? Unzip it once — the datapack.zip / resourcepack.zip inside go into the folders above as-is. Full walkthrough on the Cobblemon wiki — Testing your Pokémon in Game.

Used the universal export? You get a single .zip — drop the same file into both …/datapacks/ and .minecraft/resourcepacks/. No unzipping, no separate downloads.

Made a wearable skin? Skins with the Cosmetic item tab turned on need no extra mod — in game, hold the item, right-click your own Pokémon and pick the cosmetic slot on the interact wheel to put the skin on. Right-click again with an empty hand to take the item back off. Only Pokémon matching the skin's form are offered it, and one cosmetic item can be worn at a time.

Made a Mega? Any form with the Mega tab turned on also needs the Cobblemon Mega Showdown mod installed — it reads the extra mega_showdown/ files to power the in-battle transformation. Without that mod the pack still loads, but the form only appears as a normal battle-only skin.
